Trip to El Salvador: Photographing the Woman of San Luis Los Ranchos' Indigo Project

Yesterday, I spent the day photographing "The Woman's Indigo Project" in a tiny mountain village called San Luis Los Ranchos.  Located an hour outside of San Salvador, the woman in this community are learning a non-chemical process of indigo dying and sewing through the non-profit group, CIS, El Salvador.  Through CIS, the woman are developing the skills necessary to produce a %100 percent natural product for the world marketplace.
