I started "Sprouts in the Hood," as a platform to display my photographic work. Finding and documenting an interesting place or food is my focus. I have lived and worked as a professional photographer and creative director for
the past 30 years in Santa Fe, NM, Soho, Manhattan Chinatown, Washington Heights, Carroll Gardens, and now the Bronx, NYC. I'm attracted to neighborhoods rich culture and cuisine because of their ethnic diversity. I enjoy capturing dramatic colors, textures and light, while also
sharing cooking techniques, spices and recipes that I experience along the
way.
